Triage 2021 Year in Review

Oh hey there, 2022. You’re just around the corner and we’re happy to see you! But before we say farewell to 2021 and hola to 2022, we wanted to share a few of our Triage Triumphs this past year.

January 2021

Triage updates its benefits to include Day One insurance. This change means that travelers and HQ employees alike don’t have a waiting period for insurance benefits to kick in.

February 2021

Triage CEO, John Maaske named to the Staffing Industry Analysts North America 100 list. This list honors the 100 most influential leaders in the staffing industry. We know Maaske is a great guy—we're glad others know that too.

March 2021

Triage and Kamana Health announce a partnership and working with Triage now comes with a Profile-Back Guarantee. Kamana tracks, stores and manages compliance info and can be shared with any agency, at any time.

April 2021

The Gypsy Nurse names Triage as Best Overall Travel Nursing Company, as well as Most Loyal, Best Assignment Concierge, Most Travel Centric Benefits and Best Career Accelerator.

Nursing recruiter Larry Harris won Triage’s Derby Day. If you haven’t seen what Derby Day is like for our Omaha office, picture your favorite recruiters racing each other on giant tricycles.

May 2021

VeryWell Health names Triage Best Travel Nursing Agency. For the second year in a row, we might add!

The Balanced Careers also names Triage Best for Travel Nurses.

June 2021

BluePipes names Triage a Top Three Travel Nurse Company This is the 5th year in a row that BluePipes named Triage as one of its top five travel nurse companies.

Glassdoor names John Maaske one of the top 20 CEOs in the Small to Medium Business category. Maaske has an incredible 98% approval rating.

SIA names Steve Williams, VP of Recruiting and Sales to its 2021 40 under 40 list. Way to go Steve!

RAD and Cardio manager, Ray Petty, wins title at the Ranch Sorting Champion National World Finals in Fort Worth. How many travelers can say their recruiter is a rodeo pro?

July 2021

Triage has its small screen debut on the television show Trending Today. We were ready for our closeup and it showed. If you’ve ever wanted to see what our Omaha office looks like, here’s your chance.

August 2021

Triage makes the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest Growing Private Companies in America for the sixth time. Triage came in at #2282, its best ranking ever.

The first ever Triage carnival raised over $2700 to buy diapers for the Lydia House. Triage departments ran carnival games and employees paid money for the opportunity to dunk leadership in a dunk tank. We had so much fun, this carnival might just become a yearly occurrence.

The Cincinnati office ended the summer by donating 65 backpacks full of school supplies to local kids in need. That’s 65 families who had the burden of school supplies taken off their plates this year.

October 2021

Marketing Director Chad Sideris named to Midlands Business Journal’s 40 under 40 list for his efforts. Chad’s not one to brag, so we’ll do the bragging for him. We’re thrilled everyone else now knows just how awesome this guy is.

Nursing Client Managers won the Omaha Trunk or Treat decorating contest and the group costume Yellowstone, featuring Ray Petty, Lisa Kallhoff and Jesse Adams won the costume contest. The competition didn’t stand a chance—there were real horses involved in this costume.

A League of their Own, featuring Ryan Rosinski, John Kuebler, Robby Williams, Daren Donohoo, Kendall Burwick and Victoria Miller took the costume contest in Cincinnati. Play ball!

November 2021

Emilie Wells, Triage’s Chief Marketing Officer, named to the Global Power 150, a list of the top 100 women in staffing in North America and 50 Internationally. We love Emilie’s energy and think her marketing brain can’t be beat.

December 2021

Triage donates over 100,000 diapers to the Lydia House in its annual diaper drive fundraiser. That’s a lot of baby butts taken care of thanks to Triage employees.

With the close of 2021 coming soon, we're thrilled to see where 2022 can take us. Looking for a new position in the new year? Search our job board or reach out to your recruiter.
